Music // FORD CHASTAIN “NO WAY”

I don’t like to compare new artists/music directly to other artists. I understand the urge and how it can serve as a point of reference, but ultimately it just cheapens the listening experience, and often sells the new artist short - even when the intent is good. So I will just say that this reminds me of stuff that I love, new and old, but is far from derivative. Ok, fine - the opening guitar kinda reminds me of the opening guitar on Def Leppard’s Hysteria (one of my first favorite songs) so of course I love it. Happy now?

10% serious on that comparison, but 100% serious that his bandcamp has 5 songs on it right now, and he’s 5 for 5 to my ears.
